If you are a start up or an influencer or even a media personality , curating your Instagram to promote your brand is very important . Instagram is considered the “ magazine” of the social media platforms, therefore curating a thematic instagram is essential to bring awareness to your brand on social media. Social media experts often use content marketing as strategy to drive more followers , increase likes and engagement on instagram and the simple fact that companies and brands are specifically looking at audience engagement ( Comments ) . Furthermore, The relationship between social media and content is that content is what is needed to drive social media , there are two content marketing process that is absoulutely necessary to drive more engagement and brand awareness to instagram :

1. Listening to your audience to understand what they care about , so you can create content that they will find engaging and relevant

2. Distributing content ( from your business as well as from others )

I highly recommend to uses the different categories of content interchangeably in order to increase likes , engagement and views ( videos content is very important and popular on Instagram)
