When it comes to promoting your small business use social media wisely . The fact is nobody is looking for a carpet cleaning service or a electrician on Snapchat or a lawyer on Instagram , they just aren’t . According to Social Media Examiner Instagram , Snapchat and Linkedin combine to have less than a 5% market share in social media. Facebook on the other hand has over 40 % percent market share for small business

( Statisia ) .

I highly recommend small business to take advantage of the Facebook Advertising feature. Moreover, social networks are exploring new ways to create revenue , one of the ways is updating their algorithms and codes that determine what content users see; it has become increasingly harder for businesses to land in the feeds of their target audience. Therefore Facebook advertising is paid social and small business have the choice place ads as a” promoted post” or “in-network advertisement” and it is usually based on the budget of small business or the user.

In other words Facebook is making it harder for your “ friends” to see your promoted content , the reason is to encourage users to paid for Facebook Advertising or Paid Social .
