The Month of April marks the festival season in California , there are various of festivals happening throughout Southern California between April - September months , festivals such as the Broke LA to FYI Festivals; to the innovative cultural/lifestyle festivals such as California Wine Festival , The Sancho Latin Music , Dance & Food Festival and lastly, the food festivals. The Food festivals are made specifically for the “Californian foodie” that attract thousands of visitors each year. The most popular “ foodie “ festivals are The Strawberry Festival in Oxnard and The BBQ Festival in Long Beach.

Next , there is The Spring Extravaganza festival hosted by the newly urban chef food collective Foodminati & Friends , this new culinary event highlights L.A.'s urban entrepreneurs and urban chefs such as Keith Garrett who runs the wildly popular All Flavor No Grease food stand and Jermelle Henderson of Taco Mell Catering.

Furthermore, The Spring Extravaganza is taking place on April 15 at Vermont Square Park in the heart of Los Angeles (1248 W 47th St . Los Angeles 90037), and will run from 11 am to 5pm . Presented by City Coucilman Curren D. Price , L.A.P.D and 93.5 KDay Radio and Foodminati . The Spring Extravaganza will feature more than a dozen food trucks, stands and catering services from the South L.A. area; The Spring Extravaganza will also feature a Easter Egg Hunt from 12pm - 1pm and free hot dogs for the kids .
